Stop Your Opponent.
Win More Games
A couple of years ago, my offense was thriving, but I was not.
Most days, I felt like I was running. in circles: creating new practice schedules, coming up with different situations to practice, creating different practice periods so I could practice the new plays I was installing. And then, after all that: I would discover I’d make a mistake or forget a critical period and our offense would struggle on Game Day. On a whim, I structured my practice based on the Air Raid and Wing-T philosophy, and scripted/scheduled everything. That week at practice was the best week of practice in my coaching career – the players were excited, the coaches were energetic, and we were finished with practice in under 2 hours. We scored the most points all season following that week of practice.
Since then, I’ve been using this same practice structure to install new offenses, break school records, and win more games.
